Founders
The UK charity was founded by Julia and Geoff Hopper following Julia’s mission trip to Zimbabwe in February 2025 (pictured above, centre). The charity works in partnership with Pastor Junior Gwenhe in Zimbabwe.
Julia Hopper is an alumna of Charis Bible College Bradford. Her Charis second year mission trip to Zimbabwe in 2025 was the starting point of the Rock of Wisdom UK vision, to be closely involved in the development and support of the school.
Geoff Hopper is a retired management accountant and an alumnus of Charis Bible College Bradford. He has served as a trustee and treasurer for several charities and will provide oversight of the charity’s finances and governance.
Trustees
Rock of Wisdom UK is now a registered charity, with a board of trustees.
We are committed to honesty, accountability, and responsible stewardship of every contribution. We can guarantee that 100% of all gifts received will be sent to Zimbabwe to fund the school.
Give today
We want to avoid any criticism of the way we administer this liberal gift. For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the LORD but also in the eyes of man(2 Corinthians 8:20-21).
We are now registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales, charity number 1219897, and are in the process of opening a charity bank account. Until this is open, if you would like to support the work, please make bank transfers to the following account:
Account name: Mrs J G Hopper; Account number: 77315065; Sort code: 01-09-54.
100% of all the money we receive is sent to Zimbabwe to fund the school. Thank you so much.
