Welcome to Rock of Wisdom
Rock of Wisdom is a Christian education project in rural Melfort, Zimbabwe, where many children face severe shortages of learning resources, opportunity, and educational safety. Our purpose is clear: provide quality education, faith, and practical life skills for children who need them most.
Why this matters
In many rural communities, a school is not simply a building. It is a family’s best chance to break the cycle of poverty. When a child has books, consistent teaching, caring support, and a safe learning environment, their future changes. That is the point we focus on: building a realistic pathway to learning, dignity, and long-term progress.
What we do
1) Support foundational learning in literacy and numeracy
2) Nurture character and moral development alongside faith-based education
3) Provide practical, real-life skills that strengthen independence and confidence
4) Address essential school-related needs that help children attend, learn, and thrive
